Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference.
As a Volunteer Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.
Bromley Drug & Alcohol service has an integrated approach to the delivery of substance and alcohol treatment services; we work with clients over the age of 18 and provide a wide range of services and interventions as a means of supporting them in the ongoing recovery journey. Some of the things we offer include: care coordinated assessments, POD delivery & well being clinics.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the team at CGL Bromley Drug & Alcohol Services, Recovery Support Volunteers will undertake various duties which enhance or support the delivery of the service.
The role of Recovery Support Volunteer will be directed and supported by a supervisor, supporting service users to fulfil a recovery focused journey. This will be achieved by assisting them to access a range of services identified through the development and implementation of individual recovery plans. A Recovery Support Volunteer will represent, assist and support the project in the delivery of the service it provides by meeting their roles and responsibilities criteria.
We also expect an assertive approach to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults, and applicants to these posts will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice.
We are actively recruiting people whom can offer us 1 – 4 days per week to work within our drug & alcohol service; we are specifically looking for people who are keen and enthusiastic and would be able to commit to staying as a volunteer with us for up to one year.
Our values are to be compassionate, open and bold. If this sounds like you we’d love to hear from you so click apply.
