Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.
Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.
Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference?
As a Healthcare Support Volunteer for CGL Warwickshire, you will be a valued member of the Healthcare Team, supporting them in the day-to-day delivery of health and wellbeing interventions. Our service users’ health and wellbeing is important to us so you will be playing a pivotal role in supporting the promotion of healthier lifestyles and harm reduction interventions, for example providing naloxone within our services and community hubs. You will be supporting clinics by working with the people who use out services to prepare them for a medical review. This will include taking blood pressure, screening for substances and discussing expectations. Following training you will support the facilitation and delivery of Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations. You will be working closely with staff and partner agencies supporting people who use our services to access treatment and clinical interventions.
