Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.
Last year, over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.
Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers and make a real difference?
CGL Bromley Drug & Alcohol Services has an integrated approach to the delivery of substance and alcohol treatment services; we work with clients over the age of 18 and provide a wide range of services and interventions as a means of supporting them in the ongoing recovery journey. Some of the things we offer include: Entry Into Service assessments, Recovery groups, Aftercare Programme and non structured well being activites.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the CGL Bromley team.
The Entry Into Service Volunteer will be supporting the team in completing triage assessments to people who are at the beginning of their recovery journey. The role will also involve providing accurate information and undertake various duties which enhance or support the delivery of the service.
Change Grow Live are committed to creating an inclusive environment, which celebrates difference and allows our staff and service users to flourish. We recruit the very best staff from a wide range of backgrounds, ensuring service users benefit from our diverse skills and expertise. We always work to the principles of fairness and equality of opportunity in all our recruitment processes.
We also expect an assertive approach to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults, and applicants to these posts will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice.
We are actively recruiting people whom can offer us 1 – 3 days per week to work within our drug & alcohol service; we are specifically looking for people who are keen and enthusiastic and would be able to commit to staying as a volunteer with us for up to one year.
The role of The Entry Into Service Volunteer will be directed and supported by a supervisor, supporting service users to fulfil a recovery focused journey. This will be achieved by assisting them to access a range of services identified through the development and implementation of individual recovery plans.
A Recovery Support Volunteer will represent, assist and support the project in the delivery of the service it provides by meeting their roles and responsibilities criteria.
