We are a free and confidential drug and alcohol service for adults, young adults, families, carers and affected others across the Wirral. We provide a non-judgemental service, with qualified, experienced staff and volunteers who offer support in health & wellbeing and substance misuse. We can talk to you in several supportive environments, all which have a friendly atmosphere, and provide you with information to help you reduce your substance misuse or to become abstinent.
We are part of Change Grow Live, a national health and social care charity which provides a range of treatment, recovery, and support services for those who have concerns about their drug or alcohol use.
Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.
Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.
Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference?
At Wirral Ways we strive to ensure our services are warm and welcoming environments. Your role as receptionist is to be the first point of contact within the service greeting all our visitors promptly in a friendly and courteous manner. Duties for the post include dealing with initial queries, coordinating appointments, sign-posting to support available within the service and the community.
