Join our Tower Hamlets Reset Recovery Team as a Volunteer! 

 

Are you passionate about helping others create lasting change? As a Recovery Support Volunteer, you'll work alongside Recovery Coordinators to support individuals throughout their treatment and recovery journey. From one-to-one support to recovery planning, you'll help people build confidence, overcome challenges, and move towards a healthier future.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Support assessments, recovery plans, and risk management activities.
  • Provide one-to-one support and recovery-focused interventions.
  • Help service users achieve their personal recovery goals.
  • Encourage engagement with recovery activities and community support.
  • Work towards managing a small caseload of low-risk clients.
  • Record and maintain accurate case notes and service records.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and non-judgemental approach.
  • Good organisational and IT skills.
  • Ability to work well with a range of professionals and services.
  • Respect for confidentiality and professional boundaries.

This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of volunteering within the substance misuse field. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop within the role.
