We are looking to recruit a Opiate Support Volunteer to support our busy Opiate Team.
Volunteering with Change Grow Live is a great way to make a real difference in people’s lives whilst gaining valuable experience. Whether you want to give back to your community, develop new skills, or meet like-minded people, there are plenty of reasons to get involved.
At Change Grow Live you will be working with people to support change and the direction of their life, to grow as an individual, and to live life to its full potential.
With this role you’ll be working as part of the Opiate team, based in CGL, Luton Recovery Alliance service.
No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.
As an Opiate Support Volunteer, you will be assisting staff in the Opiate team to manage their caseload and supporting the service user through various aspects of their treatment journey. This can include completing assessments, supporting people to attend community (on site) and inpatient (on ward) detoxes, supporting clients to attend on-site medical appointments, and contacting clients to encourage attendance.
You will be an integral team member and will play an active role in helping our service users achieve their goals. You will receive ongoing training and support to enable you to thrive in this role and best support our service users.
Interested? Please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you!
