Join Our Outreach Team – Make a Real Difference

 

Make a Real Impact on the Streets Supporting People Facing Homelessness and Complex Needs

 

Are you ready to create meaningful change in your community? We’re looking for compassionate and committed volunteers to join our outreach team, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and substance dependency.

 

As a volunteer, you’ll:

  • Provide emotional support and practical assistance
  • Share harm reduction information to promote safety and wellbeing
  • Work in a trauma-informed, person-centred way
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust
  • Commit to regular volunteering and be a consistent presence for those in need

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients in a supportive and non-judgmental manner
  • Provide harm reduction information and support
  • Distribute essential items such as food, clothing, and hygiene kits
  • Assist with outreach activities, including street outreach and drop-in sessions
