Overview

Do you have lived experience of drug and alcohol recovery?

 

Are you ready to give something back?  Do you want to develop your skills and take on a bit of challenge?

 

We are looking people with previous lived experience to become part of our Peer Mentor team.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating visible recovery and acting as a positive role model whilst you support people in recovery and the wider service
  • Supporting our reception team, playing a vital role in helping people coming into treatment to feel welcome and safe
  • Assisting with the delivery of recovery group sessions
  • Helping out with day-to-day tasks within the service
  • Offering a listening ear and ad hoc support to people using our services
  • Helping us to promoting the service
