It’s often overwhelming for the people we support to make changes in their lives. You can help by donating your time as a national volunteer mentor.

Responsibilities

With this role you’ll be working as part of Newham Rise team, based in the borough of Newham.

The team supports people who struggle from substance misuse. 

In this role you will be supporting the people who use our services by offering them one-to-one support in the community and by contributing to our national lived experience team. 

By volunteering with us you will  gain valuable experience and skills, as well as making a real difference. In this role you will have the opportunity to actively contributing to the CGL national lived experience strategy, providing vital feedback to our national forum.
