We’re looking for a friendly Promotion & Engagement Volunteer to join our welcoming and supportive team at The Corner.

We work with young people under 18 across Sheffield, offering support and treatment for issues related to drugs and alcohol.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in young people’s lives and be part of a team that’s committed to helping them thrive.

The role:

Where: Sheffield city centre, at the office and operational sites in the local community.

 

When: We will work with you to be as flexible as possible, whether you can donate one day a week of your time or 3days+. The core activity of this role occurs during the day (9:00am – 5:00pm). If you'd like to discuss this in more detail before you apply, please email Gemma Kershaw.

 

Volunteer Expenses: Travel and lunch expenses will be reimbursed as per CGL volunteer policy.

 

Key activities of the role –

  • Support to develop and distribute promotional materials such as flyers, and newsletters
  • Support to create and share content for social media platforms to increase engagement and awareness
  • Support us to build and maintain relationships with local services and schools etc.
  • Attend community events, stalls and assemblies to provide advice, information, and raise awareness & visibility of our services.
