As a Volunteer Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.
CGL Bromley Drug & Alcohol Services has an integrated approach to the delivery of substance and alcohol treatment services; we work with clients over the age of 18 and provide a wide range of services and interventions as a means of supporting them in the ongoing recovery journey. Some of the things we offer include: Entry Into Service assessments, Recovery groups, Aftercare Programme and non structured well being activities.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the CGL Bromley team. The Entry Into Service Volunteer will be supporting the team in completing triage assessments to people who are at the beginning of their recovery journey. The role will also involve providing accurate information on undertake various duties which enhance or support the delivery of the service. The role of The Entry Into Service Volunteer will be directed and supported by a supervisor, supporting service users to fulfil a recovery focused journey. This will be achieved by assisting them to access a range of services identified through the development and implementation of individual recovery plans. A Recovery Support Volunteer will represent, assist and support the project in the delivery of the service it provides by meeting their roles and responsibilities criteria.
