Volunteering in Substance Misuse Services

Overview

Change, Grow, Live is a voluntary sector organisation specialising in substance misuse and criminal justice intervention projects in England and Wales.

Our drug and alcohol services support adults and young people to understand the risks their drug or alcohol use pose to their health and wellbeing, and support them to reduce or stop their use safely.

Our integrated services address the needs of the whole person and encompass housing, education, training and employment as well as psycho-social and clinical substance misuse treatment. Once stability or abstinence has been achieved, we provide aftercare to help maintain recovery and reduce the likelihood of relapse. We work with the families and friends of people affected by drug or alcohol use to help develop and maintain strong, loving and stable relationships critical to successful recovery.

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.

Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference?
