Overview

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Duty Support Volunteer. 

 

At Inspire in our Chorley hub, you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential. 

 

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.

 

Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference.

Responsibilities

At Change Grow Live we strive to ensure our services are warm and welcoming environments.

Your role as Duty Support Volunteer is to be the first point of contact within the service greeting all our visitors promptly in a friendly and courteous manner.

 

Duties for the post include supporting with drop-in queries, coordinating appointments, sign-posting to support available within the service and the community.

 

As a Duty Support Volunteer with Change Grow Live you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.

 

We will support you in this volunteering role by ensuring that you receive regular supervision, and have someone on site who you can approach for day-to-day advice and guidance. In return for the time you give you will receive valuable training and gain experience and skills. You’ll be making a real difference too.
