Overview

Ealing RISE works with a number of agencies to support the residents of the borough of Ealing who are experiencing difficulties with drugs and/or alcohol. We work with the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and with a peer led service called Build on Belief (BoB). We help residents of the Borough of Ealing who are over 18 and work closely with the Women’s Wellness Zone, which offers support to women with complex needs.

We are looking for passionate and reliable volunteers to join our Ealing RISE Recovery Team.

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live and we are looking for volunteers who are interested in:

  • Working as part of a team,
  • Would like to support individuals to change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals and live life to its full potential,
  • Support the service user through their treatment journey.

The purpose of this role is to support service users by delivering Yoga sessions.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

You will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team of Recovery Practitioners, Doctors, Nurses, Psychiatrists, and Psychologists, to deliver high quality provision from point of entry into RISE.

 

You will support:

  • client’s treatment/recovery journey
  • Work within, and as part of the team(s), to provide a comprehensive service to clients, liaising with key workers and the Volunteer Coordinator, as appropriate.
  • With the promotion of healthier lifestyles

This is a great voluntary role for anyone who is interested in gaining experience of delivering Yoga sessions within a Drug and Alcohol recovery service in their community.
